YEIDA Announces Largest Plot Allotment Draw

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to conduct a draw for 361 residential plots on October 10, with nearly 1.9 lakh applicants vying for these properties near the upcoming Noida International Airport. The scheme, which launched in July 2023, has seen overwhelming interest due to its strategic location and competitive pricing of ₹29,500 per square meter. A committee of three retired judges will oversee the draw to ensure transparency, and the event will be broadcasted live. Out of 202,235 applications, 187,000 were deemed eligible, with only those opting for a lump sum payment allowed to participate in the draw. Successful applicants will need to pay the remaining 90% of the plot price within 60 days, while unsuccessful applicants will receive their registration amounts back within 72 hours. The significant interest reflects the growing real estate demand in the region, driven by planned infrastructure and development projects.
