TotalEnergies to Supply 610 GWh Renewable Power to Data4 Spain from 2026

TotalEnergies has signed a 10-year contract starting in January 2026 to supply 610 GWh of renewable electricity to Data4's data centers in Spain, utilizing 30 MW of new wind and solar capacity. This agreement supports Data4's commitment to renewable energy amid the anticipated tripling of energy demand for data centers in Spain by 2030, driven in part by the accelerating AI industry. TotalEnergies emphasizes its 'Clean Firm Power' solution, which balances cost, consumption profile, and environmental goals through an integrated energy portfolio combining renewable and flexible assets. Data4 plans to invest nearly EUR 2 billion by 2030 to expand its campuses in Spain, highlighting its strategic focus on sustainability and innovation.
