Allegiant Adds Routes, Expands Service Nationwide

Allegiant Air is expanding its domestic network by launching five new nonstop routes this fall, connecting cities like South Bend, Knoxville, Appleton, and Des Moines to destinations such as Fort Lauderdale, Key West, Gulf Shores, and Memphis, with fares starting at $39 one-way. In addition to these new routes, Allegiant has also recently begun nonstop flights from Idaho Falls to Denver, Fresno to Portland, and Grand Rapids to Myrtle Beach and Jacksonville, with promotional fares around $42. These moves aim to enhance direct, affordable travel options for underserved markets, bypassing major hubs. The expansion focuses on leisure travelers from small-to-medium sized cities seeking convenience and accessibility. Allegiant’s strategy highlights serving overlooked communities and popular vacation spots. Special event flights, including limited-time NFL-themed services to Las Vegas, are also part of the airline's offerings.
