Father John Misty Releases New Single 'Screamland'

Father John Misty, also known as Josh Tillman, has released a new single titled 'Screamland', a seven-minute track featuring Alan Sparhawk from Low on guitar, ahead of his upcoming sixth album 'Mahashmashana', set to drop on November 22. The album includes eight tracks, with 'Screamland' and another new song 'She Cleans Up', and is produced by Tillman and Drew Erickson. The album title, which means 'great cremation ground' in Sanskrit, reflects a thematic depth consistent with Tillman's previous works. The official music video for 'Screamland', directed by Estefania Kröl, captures the song's essence and visual representation. Tillman is currently touring with Kacey Musgraves, with a European tour planned for April 2025. Fans can pre-order 'Mahashmashana' and its accompanying singles are available on digital platforms.
