Sundance Head, the winner of Season 11 of 'The Voice', recently survived a harrowing incident where he accidentally shot himself in the stomach while handling a .22 revolver at his Texas ranch. In a series of emotional Facebook videos, Head recounted the moment he was hit, expressing disbelief and fear for his life, stating, "I was sure that I was going to die." After the bullet lodged in fatty tissue without hitting any vital organs, he was airlifted to UT Health Tyler, where doctors opted against surgery. The singer emphasized his gratitude towards the first responders and a Good Samaritan who stopped to help him, as he experienced shock and bleeding on the roadside. Despite the pain, Head remains optimistic about his recovery and is thankful for the support he received during the crisis. He highlighted the indifference of passing motorists, noting that he felt fortunate that someone ultimately came to his aid.
