Littler Splits With Manager, Faces Van Veen
Luke Littler has announced he has split from ZXF Management and manager Martin Foulds just hours before his World Grand Prix opener in Leicester and is seeking new representation. The 18-year-old world champion enters the PDC event as the bookmaker favourite but still lacks success at this particular tournament. Littler has said he dislikes the Grand Prix’s double‑in, double‑out format and will practise his double-start ahead of his first-round match against Gian van Veen. The straight-knockout event in Leicester awards a £120,000 winner’s prize and is regarded as one of the sport’s toughest to win because players must start and finish each leg on a double. Littler remains optimistic about converting his dominance elsewhere into Grand Prix success.
