Folarin Balogun, the U.S. men's national team striker, is set to miss approximately four months due to shoulder surgery following a dislocated left shoulder sustained while playing for AS Monaco. Initially thought to be a two-month recovery, his condition worsened, necessitating the operation. Balogun will miss significant matches, including the CONCACAF Nations League semi-finals in March, and will not return until April, impacting Monaco's Ligue 1 season as they currently sit third in the standings.
