Colts Interview Steve Wilks and Lou Anarumo

The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly interviewing Steve Wilks and Lou Anarumo for their vacant defensive coordinator position, following the firing of Gus Bradley. Wilks, who recently served as the San Francisco 49ers' defensive coordinator, helped lead the team to Super Bowl LVIII, although the defense faced challenges during the playoffs. Anarumo, formerly with the Cincinnati Bengals, was let go after a disappointing 2024 season where the Bengals ranked 25th in points allowed. Despite the struggles, he had previously guided the Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance. Both candidates bring extensive coaching experience, with Wilks having held head coaching roles and Anarumo being recognized for his defensive strategies in previous seasons. Their interviews are expected to take place next week as the Colts seek to revamp their defensive unit.
