Paul McCartney Releases Definitive Wings Anthology November

Paul McCartney has announced a comprehensive anthology album titled WINGS, celebrating the music of his band Wings, which defined the sound of the 1970s. The collection, released on November 7, will be available in multiple formats including a 3LP color vinyl set, 2CD, Blu-ray, and digital, featuring classic hits like "Band on the Run," "Jet," and "Live and Let Die," as well as deep cuts. McCartney personally curated the tracklist and oversaw the artwork alongside Aubrey 'Po' Powell of Hipgnosis, with additional contributions from Pete Paphides and original artist Humphrey Ocean. The 3LP and 2CD editions include an expanded 32-page booklet with photos, paintings, trivia, and detailed album notes. This anthology comes alongside the release of a book, Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run, and follows news of other Beatles-related projects, emphasizing McCartney's enduring legacy post-Beatles. WINGS offers both longtime fans and new listeners a richly immersive look into the band's decade-long career and musical evolution.
