Multiple US Cities Expect Family Block Parties in August, September

Several community block parties and events are scheduled across different U.S. towns to foster local connections and celebrate community spirit. Wheaton will hold a free family-friendly Block Party on September 20 featuring a community mural, live '80s music, and carnival games. Bonne Terre’s fifth annual Block Party on August 23 will offer food trucks, live bands, a beer garden, and kid-friendly activities, despite ongoing nearby construction. Northumberland’s Norry Block Party on August 31 will include a 5K race, live music throughout the day, food, and children’s activities, with proceeds supporting future events and a fireworks display. In Sioux City, the 4th annual RE/MAX Downtown Tailgate Party on September 27 aims to raise $100,000 for local nonprofits, continuing its support for organizations like the Sunnybrook Hope Center through a family-friendly football-watching event with food and drinks. These events highlight the effort in various communities to bring residents together through entertainment, food, and charitable causes.
