The ongoing Duleep Trophy marks the first use of DRS in domestic competitions, with Ashwin citing Ricky Bhui’s lbw dismissal as an example of how DRS can expose and rectify flawed techniques. Previously, batters could escape with faulty techniques, but DRS now forces early corrections, benefiting players aiming for international cricket. Former cricketer Shreevats Goswami echoed Ashwin's sentiments, advocating for full DRS in all Ranji Trophy matches to ensure fair decisions and boost player confidence.
