TKO Hosts Historic WWE, UFC, PBR Takeover in Kansas City

TKO Group Holdings has announced its first multi-event weekend, dubbed the 'TKO Takeover,' bringing together UFC, WWE, and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) at Kansas City's T-Mobile Center from April 24-28. The event will feature a PBR show on April 24, a UFC Fight Night on April 26, and WWE Raw on April 28, aiming to leverage the synergies of its various brands to enhance fan engagement and tourism. This initiative marks a strategic shift for TKO, which is also in the midst of acquiring PBR and other properties in a $3.25 billion deal. The Kansas City Sports Commission facilitated the agreement, and blockchain company VeChain will sponsor the takeover, offering bundled ticket packages for all three events. TKO's long-term goal includes increasing site fees paid by municipalities for hosting events, thereby boosting overall revenue. This combined event format is aimed at showcasing the strength of TKO's portfolio while providing a unique experience to fans.
