135 Seacoast Runners Compete in Boston Marathon April 21

The 129th Boston Marathon is set for April 21, 2025, with favorable weather expected and over 30,000 runners participating, including notable figures like reality TV star Matt James and legendary runner Paula Radcliffe. Among the competitors are 135 runners from New Hampshire and southern Maine, such as last year's fastest Seacoast runner, Matt Homich, and Exeter's Dawn Ebbetts, who won the 70-74 women's age group in 2024 and aims to defend her title despite recent injury challenges. Several Nantucket residents are also running, many raising funds for Boston Children’s Hospital and other causes.
