Lawrence Orso Found Dead After Jail Release

Lawrence Orso, a 46-year-old man from Murrieta, was found dead in a parking lot in French Valley approximately 90 minutes after being released from the Cois Byrd Detention Center, following an arrest for driving under the influence. Deputies responded to reports of an unresponsive male at around 9:53 a.m. on Saturday, and despite attempts to revive him, Orso was pronounced dead at the scene. He had been released from jail at 8:26 a.m. the same day, and authorities found no evidence of foul play, although an investigation is ongoing.
