Infant Ejected During Police Chase in Ohio
Zachary Chervenka, a 32-year-old man from Butler, Indiana, was arrested following a high-speed police chase in Bryan, Ohio, during which an infant was ejected from his vehicle. The incident began when police attempted to contact Chervenka, who fled with two children in his car, reaching speeds over 100 miles per hour before the chase was called off due to hazardous conditions. Court documents reveal that the infant was left on the side of the road in freezing temperatures for approximately one hour before being rescued. Fortunately, the child is now in fair condition at a local hospital, while the second child was also located unharmed. Chervenka faces charges of fleeing law enforcement and two counts of child endangerment. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the chase and the ejection of the infant.
