Matsuyama Robbed in London After Olympics

During the theft, Matsuyama lost his wallet, while his caddie Shota Hayato and coach Mikihito Kuromiya lost their passports and visas, forcing them to return to Japan to obtain new documents. Despite these disruptions, Matsuyama performed well, shooting a five-under-par 65. Meanwhile, Chris Kirk made a hole-in-one and secured the lead with a six-under-par 64. Matsuyama has enlisted Taiga Tabuchi as a temporary caddie and remains optimistic despite the setback. Matsuyama's bronze medal was not stolen during the incident.
