K-Electric Announces Winter Power Shutdown Schedule

The State Grid Kashgar Power Supply Company successfully completed its 2024 grid infrastructure project with the activation of three main transformers for the Yakatamu 110kV transmission project. This completion contributes to the company's goal of enhancing power supply capacity, with 18 out of 33 planned projects operational this year alone. Meanwhile, K-Electric has announced a temporary power outage schedule for necessary maintenance of its transmission network during winter months, aiming to maintain the efficiency of high-voltage equipment. Customers may experience temporary interruptions, but these should not be confused with load-shedding. Maintenance is scheduled for the North Karachi Grid on December 21 and the KE Industrial Zone Grid on December 29, with support available through K-Electric's social media and customer service platforms. Both companies are committed to ensuring a reliable power supply amidst ongoing infrastructure improvements.
