Arkansas Wins 2025 SEC Track Title, Secures Baseball Quarterfinal Bye

The Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team secured the No. 2 seed in the SEC Tournament with a series-clinching 8-4 win over No. 17 Tennessee, marking their sixth 20-win SEC season and tying their single-season home run record. They earned a double bye and will begin play in the quarterfinals against the winner of Florida/South Carolina vs. Ole Miss, teams they have faced this season with mixed results. Arkansas’ offense was highlighted by Ryder Helfrick’s grand slam and Wehiwa Aloy’s record-tying 18th home run, while pitcher Will McEntire shut down Tennessee in relief. In the SEC Tournament's new single-elimination format, the Razorbacks aim to improve on last year’s 0-2 performance and win the championship. Meanwhile, the Arkansas men’s track and field team won their fifth straight SEC outdoor title, showcasing strong performances by Jordan Anthony and others. Additionally, Arkansas secured a top basketball recruit, JJ Andrews, a highly ranked wing from Arkansas who committed for the 2026 season, adding to John Calipari’s recruiting success.
