Letsile Tebogo showcased his exceptional form by winning the 200m at the Lausanne Diamond League with a time of 19.64 seconds, following an eight-day break from training. He defeated Erriyon Knighton (19.78) and Fred Kerley (19.86), marking his second best performance this season. Emmanuel Wanyonyi came close to breaking the 800m world record, finishing only 0.20 seconds shy of David Rudisha's 1:40.91 mark.
