South Vineland Little League President Charged with Theft

Jose L. Ramos, the former acting president of the South Vineland Little League in New Jersey, was arrested and charged with third-degree theft after stealing nearly $50,000 from the organization over several years. From 2018 to 2024, Ramos allegedly misappropriated $47,647.53 for personal expenses while withholding access to the league's financial records from other board members. The theft was uncovered after a fellow board member conducted an audit once access to the records was granted. Ramos was arrested on November 26 and released on a summons. He is no longer affiliated with the Little League, and the police are seeking further information regarding the case from the public.
