Two Juveniles Arrested for Gunfire in Longmont

Two juveniles were arrested in Longmont after firing guns from a moving car late Sunday night, with no injuries reported. The Boulder County Sheriff's Office was conducting patrols in response to previous gunfire reports when they heard shots and pursued the vehicle. The chase ended near South Sunset Street, where both suspects were taken into custody. They face multiple charges, including reckless endangerment, prohibited use of a weapon, and possession of a handgun by a juvenile. A handgun and additional ammunition were found in the vehicle and on the suspects. Investigators are still determining the motives behind the gunfire and what the juveniles were targeting during the incident.
