Juan Perez, a 54-year-old man on federal probation for a previous kidnapping charge, was arrested after attempting to rob and kidnap a woman at knifepoint in a Walmart parking lot in Orlando. The incident, captured on surveillance video, occurred on Monday afternoon when Perez demanded the woman's purse and tried to force her into the trunk of her car. A bystander intervened, preventing the kidnapping and causing Perez to flee the scene.
