Rush announces 2026 North American Fifty Something Tour with new drummer
Legendary Canadian rock band Rush is embarking on their "Fifty Something Tour" in 2026, marking their first live shows since 2015 and honoring the late drummer Neil Peart, who passed away in 2020. Founding members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will be joined by German drummer Anika Nilles, known for her YouTube career and collaborations with Jeff Beck. The tour includes over 17 dates across North America, with stops confirmed in cities including Vancouver, Edmonton, Glendale, San Antonio, and Phoenix, among others. Tickets for these highly anticipated shows have seen strong demand, with presales beginning in late October and general sales shortly after. The setlists promise a diverse mix drawn from a catalog of 35 songs, celebrating over 50 years of Rush music. Fans can expect a celebratory atmosphere as the band reunites to perform classics and fan favorites while potentially adding new musicians to enhance their live sound.
