Ariana Grande Stars in 'Wicked: For Good' Film Featuring New Songs

The upcoming film Wicked: For Good, set for release on November 21, 2025, continues the story of Elphaba and Glinda, with both characters receiving new original songs written by Stephen Schwartz. Ariana Grande, playing Glinda, highlights a new song called "Girl In the Bubble" which marks a pivotal moment in Glinda’s journey toward becoming truly good and creating a safe space for others. Grande describes the narrative as involving a series of traumatic events that shape Glinda’s character and accelerate her self-discovery more deeply than in the first film. Cynthia Erivo, portraying Elphaba, will perform a new song, "No Place Like Home," which explores Elphaba’s feelings and identity as the Wicked Witch of the West. The film was shot back-to-back with its predecessor, featuring the returning main cast including Grande and Erivo, and may expand on the role of Dorothy Gale. Director Jon M.
