David Boon Retires as ICC Match Referee
Australian cricket legend David Boon has retired as an ICC match referee after a distinguished 14-year tenure, during which he oversaw between 389 and 396 international matches across all formats. His career as a referee followed a celebrated 12-year playing stint for Australia, amassing 13,386 runs and 26 centuries. Boon's final officiating assignment was Bangladesh's victory over Zimbabwe in Chattogram.
