Woman charged with kidnapping

Greater Sudbury Police arrested three individuals following two connected home invasions, one occurring on August 3 and another earlier that day, involving armed suspects and forced confinement. In a separate case, Amber Waterman pleaded guilty to kidnapping and murdering a pregnant woman in Arkansas, resulting in a life sentence, after she attempted to pass off the victim's unborn child as her own. Meanwhile, in Springfield, Ohio, a woman was indicted for a deadly crash while intoxicated that claimed a man's life and injured two children. Additionally, a 60-year-old woman in Edwardsville faced charges for attempting to kidnap a toddler, claiming the child was hers, while Michelle Porter was arrested in Springfield, Missouri for allegedly abducting an elderly woman and two children after stealing a vehicle.
