Cannes 2025 Adds Lawrence, Stewart, Coen Films

The 78th Cannes Film Festival will be held from May 13 to May 24, 2025, and has expanded its official selection with several notable additions, including Lynne Ramsay’s thriller 'Die, My Love' starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. The film, adapted from Ariana Harwicz's novel, centers on a woman struggling with love and madness after childbirth in rural America, and marks Ramsay's return to Cannes since 2017. Jennifer Lawrence is expected to attend the premiere, marking her first public appearance since the birth of her second child. Kristen Stewart’s directorial debut 'The Chronology of Water' and Ethan Coen’s 'Honey Don’t!' will also premiere at the festival. This year's lineup boasts a record number of women directors in competition and a strong Hollywood presence. The festival will also feature tributes to icons such as Pierre Richard.
