Season 2 of the animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is set to be more grand, tragic, and funny, according to voice actor Aleks Le, who plays Amadeus Cho. The show, which debuted in January 2025 to critical acclaim, will continue to explore the early days of Peter Parker's journey as Spider-Man, with returning characters and new additions such as Spider-Gwen. Showrunner Jeff Trammell confirmed that the new season will elevate the drama and threats, building on plot threads from Season 1 including the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, Daredevil's investigation of Oscorp, and the introduction of the Symbiote. Production of Season 2 is already halfway complete, with a likely release on Disney+ in 2026 or 2027. Marvel's TV head Brad Winderbaum has expressed a desire to establish annual Spider-Man seasons after the initial gap between the first two seasons.
