The program, curated by Adrian Wootton OBE, will feature works from acclaimed filmmakers, with a particular focus on female directors and a restored classic. The festival will kick off with the UK premiere of Francesca Comencini's 'The Time it Takes' and conclude with Andrea Segre's 'The Great Ambition.' In addition, the Visuali Italiane - New Italian Cinema in Romania Festival will take place in March, presenting 11 feature films and four short films across six Romanian cities, emphasizing contemporary Italian storytelling and a diverse range of filmmakers. Both festivals aim to highlight the vibrancy of modern Italian cinema, blending established and emerging voices. These events reflect a broader trend of promoting Italian films internationally, showcasing a commitment to cultural exchange.
