Lindsay Shiver and Boyfriend Return to Jail

Lindsay Shiver, a former beauty queen, and her boyfriend, Terence Bethel, have been remanded to jail in the Bahamas after a judge revoked their bail due to violations of pre-trial publicity restrictions. Judge Cheryl Grant-Thompson criticized their appearances on Good Morning America and Inside Edition as a 'blatant disregard for the Court’s leniency.' Shiver, who is accused of conspiring to kill her estranged husband, Robert Shiver, was also found to have breached her bail conditions by changing her residence without permission. The alleged murder plot was uncovered through WhatsApp messages discovered during an unrelated investigation, where Shiver allegedly directed a hitman to kill her husband. Shiver and Bethel are currently held at Fox Hill Prison, awaiting trial scheduled for March 2025, while the alleged hitman remains free on bail. Both defendants maintain their innocence, asserting that the case has been exaggerated.
