Rangers Strengthen Coaching Staff with Williamson, Bibbo Additions

Rangers' head coach Russell Martin has bolstered his backroom staff by appointing Mike Williamson as first-team coach and Salvatore Bibbo as goalkeeping coach ahead of the new season. Williamson, a former Newcastle United player with over 400 senior appearances and managerial experience at Carlisle United, MK Dons, and Gateshead, brings top-level playing and coaching expertise to the team. Bibbo, previously with Sheffield Wednesday and having coached at Arsenal and Brighton, is recognized for his strong track record in goalkeeper development and will replace Allan McGregor's role. The appointments follow recent departures in the coaching staff, including Issame Charai, and reflect the club's commitment to strengthening the coaching environment under Martin. Sporting director Kevin Thelwell highlighted that these experienced coaches will enhance the club's capability to deliver success on and off the pitch.
