Avatar: Fire and Ash Introduces Thewlis as Peylak

David Thewlis is set to play Peylak, the leader of the Wind Traders, also known as the Tlalim Clan, in the upcoming film 'Avatar: Fire and Ash,' directed by James Cameron. The Wind Traders are portrayed as an upbeat and colorful group that travels the lush moon of Pandora on massive jellyfish-like creatures. Costume designer Deborah L. Scott describes their entrance as akin to a circus coming to town, highlighting their vibrant appearance and Peylak's 'grand' cloak. This new clan will interact with the Sully family, who are dealing with the fallout from the previous film and the antagonistic Ash Clan. The movie, set to release on December 19, 2025, promises to continue expanding the rich universe of Pandora with its diverse cultures and stunning visuals. With Thewlis bringing a unique flair to Peylak, fans can expect a refreshing addition to the Avatar series.
