Arkansas Advances to Fayetteville Regional Baseball Final
The No. 3 Arkansas Razorbacks baseball team advanced to their first NCAA Tournament regional final in two years after a decisive 12-1 win over Creighton, highlighted by strong pitching from Zach Root and home runs from Wehiwa Aloy and Ryder Helfrick. Cam Kozeal contributed significantly both offensively and defensively during the postseason. Arkansas previously defeated North Dakota State 6-2 in the regional opener, continuing their streak of winning first-round games. Creighton reached the matchup against Arkansas by eliminating Kansas with an 11-4 victory. Arkansas now awaits the winner of the Creighton/North Dakota State elimination game for the Fayetteville Regional final. Elsewhere, Saint Mary's achieved a historic first NCAA Tournament win by beating Oregon State.
