Jim Furyk Joins U.S. Ryder Cup Leadership Team

Keegan Bradley has appointed Jim Furyk as a vice-captain for the U.S. Ryder Cup team, adding to the existing vice-captains Webb Simpson, Brandt Snedeker, and Kevin Kisner. Furyk brings extensive Ryder Cup experience with nine consecutive appearances from 1997 to 2014 and has also served as a captain and vice-captain in past competitions, including captaining the 2018 Ryder Cup team. He led the U.S. team to a Presidents Cup victory last year. Bradley praised Furyk's leadership skills and experience, emphasizing his value in preparing for the upcoming Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York. The Americans aim to reclaim the trophy from Europe after a defeat in Rome in 2023. Additional vice-captains may be announced as Bradley contemplates his playing status for the event.
