Double Murder Charges Filed in Bletchley Stabbing

On Christmas Day in Milton Keynes, two women, 38-year-old Joanne Pearson and 24-year-old Teohna Grant, were fatally stabbed at a block of apartments on Santa Cruz Avenue. A 49-year-old man, Jazwell Brown, has been charged with their murders, along with two counts of attempted murder and other offenses. Two other individuals, a teenage boy and a man in his late twenties, were also injured but are in stable condition. A dog injured during the incident did not survive despite veterinary care. The police have assured the public that the parties involved are known to each other and that there is no ongoing threat. Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Brangwin expressed condolences to the victims' families and emphasized the community's safety during the investigation.
