Djibouti has proposed granting Ethiopia full management of the Tadjoura Port to alleviate tensions with Somalia, following Ethiopia's controversial agreement with Somaliland, which Somalia opposes. Djibouti's Foreign Minister, Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, stated that the proposal aims to provide Ethiopia with direct access to the sea and involves a newly constructed corridor to facilitate transport.
