Lucy Letby Appeals Conviction for Child K
Lucy Letby, Britain's most prolific child killer, is set to appeal her conviction for the attempted murder of a newborn girl known as Child K, following a retrial in which she received a 15th whole life order. The appeal hearing will take place at the Court of Appeal with three senior judges, following a previous unsuccessful bid to appeal her earlier convictions for the murders of seven babies and the attempted murders of six others. Letby was found guilty after a second jury took only three-and-a-half hours to reach a verdict, having previously been unable to do so in her first trial.
