Nine Ravens Selected for Pro Bowl Games
The Baltimore Ravens lead the NFL with nine Pro Bowl selections, including two-time MVP Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. In the NFC, the Detroit Lions follow with seven players, while the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles each have six. Notably, Patrick Mahomes was not selected for the AFC roster for the first time since becoming Kansas City's starting quarterback, although teammate Travis Kelce made the team for the tenth time. Rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels from Washington is among the few first-year players selected, alongside tight end Brock Bowers and linebacker Jared Verse. The Pro Bowl Games will feature skills competitions and culminate in a flag football game on February 2 in Central Florida. This year's format is the third iteration after the traditional full-contact game was replaced.
