Body Found in Thames Linked to Knockholt Shooting
A body believed to be that of Edward Smith, also known as Edvard Stockings, was recovered from the River Thames near Rainham, Essex, following a Valentine's Day shooting incident at the Three Horseshoes pub in Knockholt, Kent. Lisa Smith, 43, was shot dead in the pub's car park, and the suspect, her husband, was seen abandoning his car on the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge before reportedly falling into the river. Kent Police have informed the suspect's family but formal identification is pending. Witnesses at the pub described scenes of chaos as the shooting unfolded, with about 50 patrons present. No prior contact between police and either the victim or the suspect was reported before the incident.
