Birla Fertility & IVF has announced its ambitious expansion plans in South and West India, following the acquisition of 12 BabyScience IVF clinics, which marks its entry into Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. With this acquisition, the company will manage a total of 50 clinics nationwide and aims to reach 100 by FY28, supported by an investment of over Rs 500 crore. The firm, which already has a significant presence in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, intends to enhance its services through both organic and inorganic growth strategies. Birla Fertility has also acquired ARMC IVF in Kerala earlier this year and plans to expand internationally within the next 18-24 months. The IVF market in India is projected to grow significantly due to increasing infertility issues and medical tourism, with industry estimates forecasting growth to $1.45 billion by 2027. This strategic move by Birla Fertility reflects its commitment to providing advanced fertility care and increasing awareness about reproductive health services.
