Jaguar E-Type from Austin Powers to Be Auctioned

The iconic 'Shaguar,' a 1967 Jaguar E-Type Roadster featured in all three Austin Powers films, is set to be auctioned at Mecum Auctions in January 2025. This unique vehicle is the only one used in the films, making it a highly coveted collector's item for fans. Beyond its film appearances, the car also starred in Madonna's 'Beautiful Stranger' music video. The Jaguar has been preserved in a private collection and underwent restorations by Jaguar Land Rover, maintaining its original components and distinctive Union Jack livery. It has an odometer reading of over 103,000 kilometers and retains its original 4.2-liter inline-six engine and four-speed manual transmission. The auction will take place on January 18, 2025, at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida, though no estimated sale price has been disclosed.
