White Center Shooting After Suspected DUI Crash Kills One, Injures Another

A shooting in White Center early Sunday morning resulted in one death and one injury following a suspected DUI-related car crash. The incident began when a suspected drunk driver crashed into a parked car, leading to a confrontation between the parked car's owner and the driver. During the altercation, an associate of the DUI driver opened fire, shooting two individuals. One victim died shortly after arrival at Harborview Medical Center, while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The alleged shooter was arrested and booked on charges of murder and first-degree assault, while the DUI driver was cited and released. The King County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the case.
