Tom Pidcock wins stage two of Vuelta a Andalucia, Pavel Sivakov claims overall lead

Tom Pidcock celebrated his fourth victory of the season by winning stage two of the Vuelta a Andalucia, launching a strong sprint with 150 meters to go. After a challenging race, Pidcock finished ahead of his former teammate Brandon Rivera, who took second, while Pavel Sivakov secured third place and the overall race lead. Pidcock, who had expressed disappointment after finishing eighth in the first stage, attributed his success to a more strategic approach this time. His latest win came on a 133.2 km route from Alcaudete to Torredelcampo, where he was part of a five-man breakaway that effectively distanced the competition. With this victory, Pidcock moved into third place in the general classification, while Sivakov leads by 32 seconds over him. Pidcock has now achieved three individual stage wins this year and claimed the general classification at the AlUla Tour in Saudi Arabia earlier.
