BSF Intercepts Pakistani Drone Carrying Heroin
The Border Security Force (BSF) successfully intercepted a Pakistani drone near the India-Pakistan border in Ferozepur, Punjab, on Friday, seizing 498 grams of heroin and an empty pistol magazine. The drone, identified as a Chinese-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic, was neutralized using technical countermeasures after BSF personnel detected its entry into Indian airspace. Following the drone's interception, a search operation revealed the illicit items in the vicinity of Raja Rai village. This operation is part of ongoing efforts by the BSF to combat cross-border smuggling attempts. Officials noted that the intelligence capabilities of the BSF played a crucial role in thwarting this smuggling attempt.
