Spike Lee Hints Last Film With Denzel Washington

Spike Lee has praised A$AP Rocky's performance in the upcoming film 'Highest 2 Lowest,' where Rocky plays the son of Denzel Washington's character, a powerful record label owner. The film, inspired by Akira Kurosawa’s 'High and Low,' is set in New York City and also features Ice Spice and Jeffrey Wright in supporting roles. Lee highlighted Rocky's strong on-screen presence and the father-son dynamic created by his physical resemblance to Washington. This marks Lee's fifth collaboration with Washington, and he has suggested it could be their last. 'Highest 2 Lowest' will premiere in theaters on August 22 and stream on AppleTV+ beginning September 5. Early reviews have been highly positive.
