Kareem Gendraw Charged with Taunton Murder

An 18-year-old, Kareem Gendraw, has been arrested and charged with the murder of 17-year-old Khamitri Cole following a shooting incident in Taunton, Massachusetts, on September 19. Cole was found dead at the scene with a gunshot wound inside a mobile home on Lothrop Street. Another 18-year-old from Holyoke was also shot but sustained non-life-threatening injuries and drove himself to the hospital. Gendraw was apprehended in Medford by the Massachusetts State Police and is additionally charged with carrying an illegal firearm. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Taunton District Court. The investigation is ongoing.
