Hungarian Man Survives Clinging to German Train
A 40-year-old Hungarian man clung to the exterior of a German high-speed train after failing to re-board post-cigarette break, reaching speeds up to 282 km/h. The man, who had boarded the train without a valid ticket in Munich and exited at Ingolstadt, was left outside when the doors closed. In a desperate move to retrieve his luggage left inside, he climbed onto the train's bracket and held on for 30 kilometers until the train was stopped in Kinding, Bavaria, after witnesses alerted authorities. Despite the life-threatening stunt, he was unharmed and later arrested at Nuremberg central station, facing charges for disrupting operations and financial impropriety. Authorities have issued warnings against such dangerous behavior. This incident echoes a similar event in 2017 when another passenger survived a similar stunt.
