90-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in Hereford Crash

A 90-year-old woman has suffered serious, potentially life-changing injuries after being hit by a van at a pedestrian crossing on Holme Lacy Road in Hereford, with the incident occurring around 18:20 GMT on January 6. The driver is cooperating with police, who are seeking witnesses and dashcam footage to aid their investigation. Similarly, a woman in her 40s was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a bus in East London at about the same time on January 5. In a separate incident, a 75-year-old woman in North Lincolnshire died after being hit by a Mini Cooper, and another woman aged 77 was injured in the same crash. Additionally, an 80-year-old woman in Malvern is now experiencing ongoing health issues after a car incident in November, which was initially thought to have caused no injuries. Police are appealing for information on this case as well, seeking the driver who initially stopped to check on the woman.
