TTM Technologies Expands Manufacturing Footprint in Wisconsin, Malaysia
TTM Technologies has acquired a 750,000-square-foot facility in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, previously owned by TDK, to expand its advanced technology printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing capabilities. This acquisition enables TTM to rapidly increase domestic production capacity, particularly for high-volume markets such as data center computing, networking, and generative AI applications. Additionally, TTM secured land rights for a new manufacturing site in Penang, Malaysia, supporting supply chain diversification beyond China and enhancing its global footprint across North America and Asia. These strategic investments align with TTM's goal of providing regionally optimized and globally connected manufacturing solutions, ensuring scale, flexibility, and supply chain security for customers. Wisconsin officials highlighted the move as a win for local precision manufacturing and economic development. Meanwhile, Germany's Techtronic Industries Company Limited (TTI) plans to expand its Milwaukee power tools plant in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, aiming to enhance its manufacturing scale and innovation ecosystem as part of the region's growing industrial development.
