Three-Star OL Zykie Helton Commits to Georgia

Zykie Helton, a three-star interior offensive lineman from Carrollton, GA, has committed to the University of Georgia over Georgia Tech, Alabama, and Florida State. Helton is the third offensive lineman to join Georgia’s 2026 class, which now includes 14 commitments. Known for his strong hands, mobility, and footwork, Helton is expected to provide depth and competition on Georgia’s offensive line. His decision is another recruiting blow to Georgia Tech, which also lost Zachary Lewis to Georgia. Coach Searels’ development of NFL-ready talent and Georgia’s winning culture were key factors in Helton’s choice. Georgia Tech is now expected to pursue other offensive line targets, including Fletcher Turk and Tyreek Jemison.
